Bits About Brynley: 37 Weeks!

Sweet Brynley Bug,

 You turned 37 Weeks today!

May 29th, 2012

(Well Tuesday of this week, but we were at the beach still so Mommy is just now posting this)

 That's right! You took your very first BIG roadtrip to Florida to visit Grammy and Grampa. You did great although you did not sleep as well in your pack n play, which I don't really blame you there. You woke up each night once, but would fall back to sleep. I just think you got scared, not knowing where you were. But once Mommy held you, you fell right back to sleep. Sweet girl.

 You are just the sweetest baby with the best personality! You still have some seperation anxiety, but I can sense that it's getting better now that you are mobile and can crawl and scoot to me if you need. I was taking a bath and Daddy was in the kitchen, and within moments, I heard you huffing and puffing and there you were in the bathroom! You were so proud of yourself for making your way to me haha!

 These doorstops are one of your favorite things to play with around the house! You love making the sound and then laugh. I have pulled all of the rubber stoppers off though, and Ryder likes to join you in making the noise. There is so much for you to explore still around you. I love just watching you play with things and figuring out how they work!

 This would be another favorite game of yours. Pulling the magnets off of the fridge and playing with the ABC leap frog to make it sing. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't walk in the kitchen with each and every one of these magnets scattered all over the floor. But you love it!

 Still teething some, but the top two front teeth are erupted some, so you are just working your way to get the rest of them to erupt. I know they must be painful because your poor gums are so red and swollen! I know that we will have many more days of teething left, but I'm glad that you are well on your way to getting the hang of it now. 16 more to go haha!

 You have discovered how to crawl over to wherever you need to go and then pull yourself up on it! Whether it be a table, cabinet, door, wall, or anything else. Here you were at Grammy and Grampas house, so proud of yourself for making it to the entertainment center! You just want to get into any cabinets or doors, and if they are open for even a second you are hightailing it to come get into!

 And again, just one hand with the other teething away! We got you some new jammies for the summer and I am loving you in them! There's just something about seeing those baby arms and legs that make me want to kiss all over you haha!

As for eating, you could care less about pureed foods girl! "Give me the real stuff Mom!" So we have been giving you pretty much whatever it is we eat, within reason. I want to start letting you feed yourself with a spoon, but you still haven't gotten the hang of it just yet. You ate three big helpings of avacado salsa last night, and loved the chicken broccoli noodle casserole I made this week too. I can proudly say that you are the less pickier eater between you and your brother.

We have made so many great memories over the past week traveling to Florida and then making a mini family vacation at Hilton Head Island in SC. You even got in many pools and ate sand, and are going to be my water baby for sure! I can't wait for the adventures that await us this summer.
